“Die Puppe” is inspired from a photograph and sculpture by Hans Bellmer, a notable German artist of the 1930s. This peice to me is about vulnerablitily, the showing of one’s true form in glowing golden slivers. Sometimes we cant help but reveal our true selves, even when we wish to hide it.
